34) Set Process Stage - Dynamics 365


Since upgrading to Dynamics 365, the tool "set process stage" no longer works for us.

It gives an error complaining about case ID. Even though I made trying to set the stage on a custom entity not case.

Has anyone used this tool on Dynamics 365?
Or does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Demian

I have a workflow that worked fine before my Dynamics 365 upgrade. It is a simple on demand workflow to move my business process flow from "Draft" (the opening stage) to "Completed" (my final stage).

It now gives error below. (FYI: It is complaining about case ID but the workflow is on a custom entity.)

Hi Neil, sorry for the delay...
Waht version of the tools are you using? Maybe updating to the last versions (using the last SDK dlls) is fixed.
do you have any traces in the plugin execution logs?

Could you share with me the customizations & entities of the process just to test it the same?
